Ipswich's historic Tudor mansion will welcome couples and wedding suppliers on Sunday, 4 May, for a free showcase event.
Why it matters: The event gives visitors the opportunity to meet local wedding suppliers while exploring the historic venue, which includes the Lower Tudor Room for ceremonies and The Great Hall for receptions.

The details: The free event runs from 11:00 to 15:00 and will feature suppliers showcasing wedding essentials, including:
Flowers
Cakes
Entertainment
Wedding attire
What they're saying: "Following the success of our wedding fayre at Ipswich Town Hall earlier this year, we wanted to showcase another of our stunning venues – the historic Christchurch Mansion," said Councillor Carole Jones, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Planning and Museums.
"Set in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Park, the Tudor mansion is unique – a venue like no other," she added.
For vendors: Suppliers interested in exhibiting are encouraged to register, as spaces are limited, and only a select number of each supplier type will be chosen to participate.
Interested businesses should contact saskia.stent@colchester.gov.uk
The bottom line: Free tickets can be booked in advance.
