Comedy star adds second Ipswich date after tickets sell fast

Following exceptional demand for his March show, comedian Chris McCausland has announced a second Ipswich performance of his "Yonks!" tour at the Regent Theatre.

Why it matters: The addition of a new date on 23 April gives more local comedy fans the chance to see one of Britain's fastest-rising comedy stars.

The big picture: McCausland's growing popularity reflects his recent success, including:

  • Regular appearances on top TV shows like "Have I Got News for You"

  • Hosting his own ITV1 chat show

  • A previous sell-out UK tour

The bottom line: With his original Ipswich date proving so popular, the additional April performance offers a second chance for fans to catch McCausland's "masterclass in stand-up comedy."
