Community garden project aims to bring Ipswich residents together

An Ipswich charity is launching free courses to help residents build connections and develop new skills through gardening and nature-based activities at two community gardens.

The big picture: ActivLives, which runs community health and wellbeing programmes across Ipswich, is offering its Grow Your Future course at two locations in the town:

  • Chantry Walled Garden, starting 11 February

  • The People's Community Garden on Halifax Road, starting 12 February

  • Each course runs for 12 weeks and offers five hours of activities per session.
