Description

This year's spectacular production of Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be the "giant of all pantomimes", running from 17 to 31 December at Ipswich's historic Regent Theatre.

The magical story follows Jack and his mum Dame Trott as they embark on an adventure involving:

  • A beloved cow named Daisy

  • A mysterious bag of beans

  • A magical beanstalk

  • A giant's castle in the clouds

A star-studded cast

The show features an impressive lineup of talent:

  • TV and Dance Sensation Louie Spence as Spirit of the Beans

  • EastEnders Legend Michael Greco as Fleshcreep

  • TikTok and West End Star Abbie Budden as Jill

  • The returning Mike 'Squeaky' McClean as Silly Simon

  • Gavin Ashbarry as Dame Trott

Essential information

  • Tickets start from £15 (plus £1.50 restoration levy)

  • Runtime: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval

  • Doors and bars open one hour before showtime

  • Under 14s must be accompanied by a paying adult

  • BSL interpreted performance available on Friday 27 December at 6pm

The production comes from Enchanted Entertainment, the successful team behind previous Regent pantos including Peter Pan, Aladdin and last year's Sleeping Beauty. Audiences can expect spectacular songs, dazzling dance routines and family-friendly entertainment throughout the festive season.
