A new 12-week amateur dramatic workshop is set to begin in Ipswich, offering participants the chance to develop their performance skills and learn about various aspects of theatre production.
The big picture: The workshop, aimed at adults over 18, will cover various topics, including character development, stage management, and confidence building through practical exercises.

The program runs for 12 weeks from 30 September at St Clement's Church, Ipswich IP4 1JZ
Sessions take place every Tuesday at 7pm
The cost is £4 per week

Character development and devising exercises
Confidence building through individual and group tasks
Practical character simulation exercises
Understanding of stage composition and management
Guest speakers and performers discussing makeup, props, and their careers
An outing to a local performance with a chance to meet the performers
