The annual Classics at Glemham event has more than doubled its fundraising total for St Elizabeth Hospice, bringing in £20,000 to support vital services across Suffolk and beyond.

The big picture: Classics at Glemham, a family-friendly car show held on 1 September at Glemham Hall, has smashed its previous fundraising efforts for St Elizabeth Hospice.

The event had something for everyone, showcasing classic cars, car club stands, children's attractions, military vehicles, commercial vehicles and motorcycles.

Why it matters: The £20,000 raised will directly support St Elizabeth Hospice's work providing care to over 4,000 patients and their families annually across the region.

What they're saying: Celia Joseph, community and projects fundraising manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, called the amount raised "incredible" and "phenomenal". She expressed gratitude to the event organisers, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and attendees for their support.

“This sterling support contributed to the event raising a phenomenal amount of money for St Elizabeth Hospice which will help us to continue to provide our services to over 4,000 patients and their families each year.

“We are extremely grateful to the team, the sponsors and all the volunteers who made this year’s Classics at Glemham such a big success and one that had something for everyone to enjoy.”
