Resale tickets for Ipswich Town vs Liverpool match available Thursday

News

A (very) limited number of resale tickets for Ipswich Town's match against Liverpool on Saturday will be available from 10am on Thursday, 15 August.

Why it matters: Only 29 tickets have been returned by season ticket holders, making this a rare opportunity for non-season ticket holder members to attend the highly anticipated match.

Key details:

  • Tickets will be sold via tickets.itfc.co.uk

  • Only non-season ticket holder members are eligible to purchase

  • A waiting room and queueing system will be in place from 9:30am

  • Demand is expected to be extremely high

How to purchase:

  1. Enter the waiting room between 9:30am and 10am on Thursday

  2. Do not refresh your page once in the waiting room

  3. At 10am, you'll be placed in a random position in the queue

  4. If successful, you'll have 30 minutes to complete your purchase

Can't make the game? Season ticket holders unable to attend can still add their tickets to the resale platform, receiving a refund of 1/19 of their season ticket cost (minus a £1 administration fee) if sold.

The bottom line: With such limited availability, the club advises only attempting to purchase if you meet the qualifying criteria.

JET's Ipswich career: The journeyman joined Ipswich in 2011 for £1.1m from Arsenal, scoring nine goals in 75 appearances for the Tractor Boys. He left Ipswich in 2013 in a swap deal with Bristol City. He most recently played with Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship.

The bottom line: The NCA warns that cannabis smuggling into the UK carries a maximum 14-year prison sentence, contradicting misinformation some couriers receive about facing only fines.
