Free Layla screening at King Street Cinema and Omniplex

Ipswich moviegoers can watch an exclusive preview of the new British film Layla for free at two local cinemas next month as part of a nationwide cinema initiative.

Description

Layla follows a British-Palestinian drag queen's journey of self-discovery around East London's drag club scene. The film stars Bilal Hasna, Self Esteem and Emma McDonald. It's one of over 150 free screenings happening across the UK that day.

Both Omniplex Ipswich and King Street Cinema will show the film on Monday 11 November, ahead of its UK release. The screening is part of Escapes, a BFI-funded programme offering free independent cinema experiences across the country.
